A bit about me. I am Rose, a mum to three and I am married to my best friend and enjoy living life to the fullest! I live near Bath and provide both wedding and documentary portrait photography. My goal is not to get in your way so you can enjoy your wedding day without stopping and starting for posed photos.

Good wedding photography involves looking for personal connections and capturing moments. I talk to your friends, family, and guests, so they are comfortable. As they become comfortable, their emotions will begin to show. They are more likely to show their feelings. The candid photos I take will reveal and show the raw emotions hidden behind smiles and laughter.

I am here to help you make memories. You only get one wedding day. Once you choose your venue, I begin to make my plans to create a plan of action that allows me to capture as many special moments as possible. The right location in the venue is where I will be able to get the best shots without disrupting the events. I try to get through the crowd without being noticed. I also try to stay out of the way of the videographers as well.

How far in advance do I need to book my wedding photographer?

It’s best to research for a Bath wedding photographer at least a year in advance. Wedding dates fill up quickly, so don’t delay. A good photographer can be booked two to three years in advance. Start meeting with photographers before you set the date so you will find one you like. Ask upfront how soon they need to schedule your wedding. They will be able to tell you how busy they are.

How long will it take for me to get my edited images?

In most cases, it will take me three to four weeks to complete your wedding photos. Editing is a process and it takes time to make sure you are getting the highest quality images possible. Some weddings take longer than others due to the number of images taken. If you are ordering prints or canvases, the return time will be dependent on the printing company once I am finished with the editing process.

How do I make sure I have a good Bath wedding photographer?

It’s good to find a photographer who is able to listen to you and understand what you’re looking for. They will communicate with you throughout the entire process. Although we can talk about any group / couple photographs you may like, the nature of my photography means I don’t plan the individual photographs I will take as I capture moments as they unfold throughout the day. Of course there are key moments that every wedding photographer looks to capture such as that first kiss.
