I work quietly and attentively, blending into the background so that you can remain fully present with your guests. This allows genuine moments to unfold naturally while they are documented in a thoughtful and artistic way. The result is a collection of images that feel authentic, emotive and full of life. These are the photographs that grow more meaningful as the years pass.

I’m Rose, a documentary wedding photographer based in the South West.
For nearly a decade I have photographed weddings across Bath, Bristol, Somerset, Wiltshire, Devon, Dorset, Cornwall and the surrounding countryside. My work focuses on emotion, atmosphere and storytelling.
I believe the most meaningful photographs come from real moments rather than staged ones. When couples feel relaxed and able to enjoy their day fully, the photographs naturally become something far more powerful than a simple record of events. They become a lasting story of how it felt to be there.

My approach is natural documentary wedding photography. I capture the real moments of the day as they unfold rather than heavily posing or directing events.
This allows couples to stay fully present with their family and friends while their wedding story is documented honestly and beautifully.
Do you still take group photographs?
Yes. Most couples choose to include a small number of relaxed group photographs. These are usually taken shortly after the ceremony and kept simple so they do not interrupt the flow of the day.
Do you offer couple portraits?
Yes. I usually suggest taking a short walk together at some point during the day to create a few natural portraits. Bath offers beautiful backdrops for this, from elegant Georgian streets to quiet gardens and sweeping views across the city.
How far in advance should we book our Bath wedding photographer?
Many couples book their wedding photographer 12 to 18 months before their wedding, particularly for popular summer dates.
As I photograph a limited number of weddings each year it is always worth getting in touch early to check availability. If you are planning a wedding with a short lead time however, do still get in touch to check your date as sometimes have last minute availability.
