Family life moves so quickly — it’s full of laughter, change, and those fleeting moments that deserve to be remembered. My family portrait sessions are a chance to slow down, come together, and create something beautiful to celebrate this chapter in your lives.

With a relaxed, natural approach, I’ll gently guide you to create a natural and relaxed portrait of your family right now, while leaving plenty of space for genuine connection and warmth, smattered with the odd candid moment (my favourites). The result is a collection of elegant, heartfelt portraits that reflect your family as you truly are. Shorter than my candid, storytelling photography sessions, these portraits photography sessions are a chance to get snap shots in time of your family right now – perfect for Christmas cards, mantlepiece frames, annual records of children growing up.

Your Session

Your session can take place wherever you feel most at ease — in your own home, out and about, perhaps near to a landmark or a place that is meaningful for you and your family.

Whether you’re marking a pregnancy, a birthday, a holiday / vacation, or simply the joy of being together, I’ll create an experience that feels calm, enjoyable, and personal to your family.

What to Expect

• A relaxed, friendly, non-judgemental and neuro-affirming atmosphere for all ages.
• Gentle direction for naturally posed, flattering portraits. Or no direction at all if that’s your family’s preference (if this is the case, you may prefer my candid photography sessions.
• A carefully curated collection of beautifully edited images.
• Options to include individual, sibling, or couple portraits within your session.

These images will become part of your family’s story — timeless keepsakes to be enjoyed for years to come.

Pricing

Pricing for my portrait sessions start at £250 (on a weekday) for a 30 minute session within 10 miles of BS39. This includes 5 digital image downloads.
