Coombe Lodge Wedding Photography

Coombe Lodge is one of Bristol and Bath’s most stunning wedding venues. It sits on 20 acres of beautiful north Somerset countryside in the heart of Chew Valley. At the base of the Mendip Hills, you have scenic views from every angle. The wedding venue is a favourite of Blagdon residents and is very popular throughout the area for its luxury accommodations and services. If it is your first time at the lodge, take a tour and become familiar with all it offers.

Coombe Lodge is a captivating wedding venue that is known for its luxury as well as its elegance. The venue is licensed for civil ceremonies and offers a dedicated wedding coordinator to ensure your special day goes as smoothly as possible. The wedding venue is managed by a team of professionals who have planned weddings for over ten years. When you want your special day to be perfect, this is where you want to have your wedding ceremony.

Coombe Lodge History

Beautiful Coombe Lodge was the architectural vision of Sir George Oatley. Construction of the stunning manor began in 1928 and was completed in 1932. For the next 30 years, the lodge was the home of the Wills family. When the owners decided to turn the property into a luxury wedding venue, renovations were completed that accentuated the beautiful features and brought them back to life. The large windows allow for an abundance of natural light, while the original floors have been exquisitely preserved for your first dance.

Breathtaking countryside views of Blagdon Lake and the surrounding hills make for the perfect sunset shots. With exclusive use of the venue on your big day, you can explore the grounds to your heart’s content. The bride and groom can enjoy a long walk after tying the knot. Take a few moments to enjoy those first precious moments of marriage. I will be able to capture those moments so you can look back on them many years from now.

Weddings and Events at Coombe Lodge

Coombe Lodge offers exclusive use of the venue on your wedding day. You have access to skilled chefs and a stunning music room. The lodge has twelve luxurious rooms the bride and groom can choose from for their first night as man and wife. Your guests can also find rooms in The Garden House, also located on the property.

The wedding venue is licensed for civil ceremonies or hosting your wedding reception. There are several beautiful areas on the property where you can have your wedding ceremony. Most areas seat up to 160 of your closest friends and family. If you prefer a church service, many chapels and churches are nearby. Schedule your wedding, and then book your wedding reception and rooms at Coombe Lodge. As a Coombe Lodge wedding photographer, there are many ways we can capture beautiful photos for your wedding album.

My Name is Rose, and I Would Love To Be Your Coombe Lodge Wedding Photographer

My name is Rose Dedman, and wedding photography is my passion. I have photographed many weddings during my career.

Coombe Lodge is one of my favourite local venues. Beautiful architecture and large windows are key features of this stunning venue. With over 15 beautifully landscaped acres, you can have your ceremony inside or out.

I take a documentary-style approach to my wedding photography. This means no awkward posing and no pressure to get the “perfect shot”. Just you and your guests enjoying your wedding day. With a small handful of group shots taken after the wedding ceremony (if you choose to have them) and a short section of couple portraits (no awkward posing I promise), the rest of the day you will be able to relax and enjoy your celebrations with your family and friends, forgetting I am even there.

When I create your wedding gallery, it will be as unique as you are with natural, characterful, candid photographs full of genuine emotion and feeling, bursting with life and love.
