The first few days, weeks and months with your new baby are so special – the blurry haze of feeding, nappy changes, newborn snuggles and their total dependency on you as their whole world. Your life as you know it has changed beyond all recognition but at the same time, you can’t imagine life without them.
I like to keep things very relaxed, allowing baby (and you if you like!) to sleep, feed, cuddle or have a little cry as needed. Siblings can tell me what they think of their new baby and family life unfolds in front of the camera.
My documentary style approach means that you don’t have to dress up, tidy the house or even put on any makeup if you don’t feel like it. I simply come and hang out with you for little while and capture the beautiful reality of your life with a newborn and create lasting memories of this precious time which only lasts for a very short while.
A documentary photography session in your home is the low pressure and beautifully real option for newborn photography – for images which will be treasured for a lifetime.
