Quirky Cinema Wedding Bristol
Ella and Sid’s Quirky Cinema Wedding at The Watershed in Bristol.
When I first heard from Sid and Ella about their wedding plans for the arthouse cinema in The Watershed, Bristol I knew it was going to be a really special day. This alternative, quirky cinema wedding venue with superb opportunities for relaxed, candid wedding photography around Bristol Harbour and Millennium Square is loads of fun to shoot at. Throughout Sid and Ella’s day there was a really warm and romantic vibe which I really enjoyed being a part of. All the guests were so happy to be there and celebrate the marriage of this lovely couple.

Photography coverage started with guests arriving at the venue pre-ceremony and finding their seats in the cinema room. There was lots of excitement about the unusual ceremony location whilst everyone enjoyed watching the slideshow of wonderful couple and family moments on the screen.
The ceremony itself was very intimate and special with a heartfelt reading from the Mother-of-the-Bride. After the ceremony all the guests lined up ready for a confetti aisle and Ella and Sid walked through like pros providing lots of beautifully candid moments to photograph with genuine emotion – the happiness was palpable.
Following this we all went for a walk through Bristol Habourside, the Bridesmaid valiantly carrying a rainbow umbrella like a tour guide, for everyone to follow to the water-wall, where we captured a small handful of group photos for the mantlepiece. The guests then returned to The Watershed whilst Ella and Sid went for a short walk through the Harbourside to savour a moment together as a the newly married husband and wife.
Returning the The Watershed all the guests were so happy to congratulate them and many people who had not seen each other for a long time enjoyed hugs, good conversations and Peppa Pigand friends even made an appearance on one of the tables, ready for their food. The wedding breakfast room was decorated by a vast array of foliage which gave a lovely environment for the food and speeches, after which I left them to enjoy the rest of their evening celebrations together.
