About Brand Photographer Rose Dedman

I’ve just been taking a moment, amidst the chaos, to schedule some social media posts, and I realised that I really should be practising as I preach, and showing my own face online more. So here is a little about me, Rose Dedman, Brand Photographer…

So this is me. Rose, Rosie, or “Mummy!”, depending on who is trying to grab my attention at the time. I have 3 young children, 2 cheeky cats and 1 very patient husband of 12 years (16 years together – eek I’m getting old!) and we all live in Paulton, near Bath. We used to live in central Bath before having a family and getting on the property ladder, so our hearts still belong to the beautiful city…one day we may move back! 

Before becoming a professional brand photographer, I had a 12 year career in marketing, during which time I gained my CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing. I have worked in various industries from Engineering, Publishing (digital creative) and Retail. 

In my first job out of Uni (studying French and Italian), I was lucky enough to travel worldwide and see and experience many amazing things. An opportunity I will forever be grateful for. This was a huge inspiration for me in learning how to use a camera properly as I wanted to be able to photograph the sights as I saw them in my head.

I have been a professional photographer since 2017, having loved playing with a camera all my life, and I love my job! I feel privileged to be able to use my previous experience and marketing expertise to produce beautiful, professional brand imagery for entrepreneurs, sole traders or small businesses, to help show the world just how amazing their brand is!

I have photographed many wonderful brands, individuals and families, and made fantastic friends along the way. I wouldn’t change what I do for the world! And as soon as this chaos ends, I will back out there raring to go!!!… how about you?
