Radnor Rooms Wedding Photos
APRIL 2024
Katie and Kevin’s Radnor Rooms Wedding, Bristol.
Late spring this year I was invited to photograph a lovely, intimate and animated wedding in the Radnor Rooms in Bristol, full of theatrical guests and it was so much fun. Katie and Kevin had already done the legal bit at the Bristol registry office a couple of weeks prior to this wedding celebration and so this day was all about celebrating their official union together with family and friends.
As there was no need for an official registrar, a close friend had been chosen to officiate the proceedings and despite some initial trepidation she did a fantastic job! It was a really personal and touching ceremony which came from the heart. Katie and Kevin were ecstatic once it was done (and Nina relieved!) and the images demonstrate this nicely.
As Katie and Kevin only needed a short coverage of their wedding I was with them from shortly before the ceremony to capture the arrival of the guests and the pre-ceremony nerves of Kevin and Nina. I then captured a small handful of group photos and then the start of the afternoon celebrations which consisted of a lovely buffet of food laid on by the Radnor Rooms staff. It was such a relaxed and friendly vibe. Family was obviously a core value for this family which I really identify with and so there were lots of opportunities for capturing the little in-between moments between family members and friends who perhaps hadn’t seen each other for a while and who were all so happy for the newly married couple.
I hope you enjoy looking through a few of my favourite images from the day:
