Happy to be a Top Family Photographer of 2021, according to the FPJA.

It was a funny old year last year, both in terms of slowly emerging in some sense from Covid restrictions, but at the same time remaining cautious and sensible. My family are still taking care not to infect vulnerable members. We managed some lovely holidays in England over the summer and then my son started school (a very emotional time! For me anyway!). To commemorate this, we had our very own family photo shoot with the lovely Jess Cheetham (you can see some of the images on my About page), which was really special. I’ve also been so lucky to have worked with lots of amazing families, small brands and many gorgeous wedding couples around Bristol, Bath and also across and down into Wiltshire, Devon and Dorset! I really love meeting so many different people. It’s funny, I find that my laid back, relaxed and down-to-earth photography style seems to attract lots of like minded people into my business, which is so wonderful and I really love getting to know everyone!
More emotional times ahead
This year will bring another emotional time for me with my youngest starting school in September, my last to leave the pre-school phase and definitely the end of an era. Why does time have to go so fast…!? Perhaps an excuse for another photo shoot! It is so lovely to have annual shoots of your family as they grow up, capturing all the little changes and dynamics. And I’m really excited to find out who I will meet and work with in the coming year through my business. I can’t wait!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Anyway, I wanted to say thank you so much to all my clients, followers and those who regularly like or commented on my posts. It all really helps and cheers me on in my business, giving me confidence to carry on and I really appreciate it. And to finish off my latest ramble and get back to the original point of my post…below are the images that I won awards for with the FPJA in 2021. I look forward to seeing more of you wonderful lot in 2022!
